The Synopsis (The Gist) John Abbott is the arrogant host of a trashy true-crime TV show called Lights, Camera, KILL . He gets rich by re-enacting grisly murders and exploiting the victims' families. But one victim’s relative has had enough. A masked killer begins hunting down Abbott and his crew, turning their production set into a real-life horror show. The hunter becomes the hunted, and the killer wants to make sure Abbott suffers before he dies. 2. The General View (Detailed Analysis) "The Blade Cuts Deeper" is a love letter to 1970s Italian horror (Giallo). The Vibe: It prioritizes style and suspense over fast jumpscares.
