Ayyoub Bouaddi is regarded as one of the most gifted teenage midfielders in world football and one of the brightest prospects to emerge from France in recent years. Born in Senlis, France, to Moroccan parents, he began his football journey at AFC Creil before joining Lille's academy in 2021. His rapid rise through the youth ranks immediately caught the attention of coaches because of his maturity, intelligence, and technical quality.
In August 2023, Bouaddi signed his first professional contract with Lille, and only a few weeks later he made history. On 5 October 2023, at just 16 years and 3 days old, he became the youngest player ever to appear in a European club competition, making his senior debut for Lille in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
